Jennifer Ashworth has been playing the Fairy ever since 2011, when she and Kristen Jones dreamed up Sing You a Merry Christmas. She draws on her background of opera, musical theater, marching band and children‘s theater to help create this magical Christmas story. Her Christmas wish for YOU is that Presto Interactive Opera! helps you remember what it feels like to be young and open-hearted!
Kevin Baum is honored to be playing St. Nicholas for a fourth season this year. Every year’s production has been slightly different, but this year takes the cake! Kevin is looking forward to seeing you in person again next year!
Joshua Beld has danced his way around Grace Cathedral as Ninja since 2011. He uses his experience from musical theatre, cabaret, opera, dance, and wind symphony to provide as many beautiful tiny moments as possible in this Christmas show. Although Christmas was not a tradition he grew up with, Joshua is happy that Sing You a Merry Christmas! has become a loving and welcoming yearly Christmas tradition for him.
Each year John Brown is delighted to join the cast of fellow toys on our Christmas adventure. He is proud of his many holiday roles over the years – especially as the Little Drummer Boy, the Innkeeper of Bethlehem, and one of the Magi (a key role in preparing him to play the Prince). Music has always been at the center of the Christmas season for John and he’s delighted to get to sing along with you at home.
Kevin Gino is excited to bring Cowboy to life, spreading joy and happiness to everyone once again. He grew up singing and playing the saxophone, where he immediately fell in love with all types of music, especially Christmas tunes. He also can’t wait for Christmas day, where he hopes to find an Xbox Series X under the tree!
Kristen Jones is an accomplished vocalist, performer, director, and teacher and has been performing as Princess since she and Jennifer Ashworth co-wrote Sing You a Merry Christmas in 2011. This show is her favorite, and she suspects that getting to make music with such a talented group of friends and roller skate around a gorgeous cathedral means she has even more fun than the audience does!
Lizzie Moss has been spreading Snowflake magic for the last 7 Christmases. A performer from the ripe old age of two, Lizzie has been seen with numerous Bay Area companies, and most notably was a part of the final cast of Beach Blanket Babylon. In her spare time Lizzie loves binging episodes of The Office and Disney movies, playing with sparkly makeup, baking bread and french macarons, and spending time with her boyfriend, Kamren, and kitties, Ringo and Luna.
